Key Responsibilities

Since 1992, IO has been working in western South Sudan as primary area of intervention. IO‘s activities in the region started in Western Bahr el-Ghazal with food security and education programmes, and expanded into WaSH interventions in 2007. IO currently implements education, food security and livelihoods, and WASH programs in WBEG State and Warrap State

The post holder will be responsible for financial and administrative functions according to the regulations, policies and procedures of the organisation and of the donors. The position reports to the Admin Finance Manager based in Juba. This position will travel a significant amount of travel within the country.

Finance Management: support to the projects and partners ensuring compliance to donors’ requirement.
Accounting: Follow up regularly payments in accountancy software
Treasury: Reconcile cashbox and bank accounts, cash forecasts,
